Building on success through synergy

Charles Fillingham

With three months of active fundraising remaining, the school has now received donations and pledges in excess of £1.5 million towards our £2 million target to create a new library and gym which align with the academic, sporting and personal development ambitions we have for all our pupils.

I warmly invite you to watch our latest campaign update by clicking the image above.

More than 90 individuals, families, and companies, including current parents, parents of former pupils, Old Silhillians, Saint Martin's Old Girls, staff, and friends of the school, have joined the campaign already. Every single donation is both valued and valuable and I am hoping to persuade you to get involved before time runs out.

The fundraising campaign for the Chapel in the 1950s and the campaign for the swimming pool at Saint Martin's in the 1980s both benefited from a similarly wide range of generous supporters from within the school community. Every day, pupils benefit from the legacy of those campaigns; we stand on the shoulders of giants. I am hoping that, thirty years since the last fundraising campaign, we can once again do something really special that will inspire Solihull School pupils to achieve their very best. I do hope you will join me.

On this website you will find information about the projects together with a downloadable Gift Card. If you would like to discuss a donation, please email Deb Smith, Director of External Relations, at smithd@solsch.org.uk; we would be delighted to discuss your involvement over a cup of tea.

With my thanks and best wishes for your support,
